The exterior of the kitchen is covered with refined ash wood panelling or thermowood poplar. Both options are heat treated, which further strengthens the durable wood structure and creates a deep, chocolate brown or medium brown surface. The knot-free material has low density and exceptionally good thermal conductivity. It loses most of its moisture content during heat treatment, making it highly resistant to humid, wet environments and extreme temperature changes.
